I started New Range Home back in 2012 because I was tired of watching Perth families get quoted one price and handed another. After more than a decade working as a site supervisor for two of the state's largest volume builders, I knew there was a better way to build — one where the price you sign is the price you pay, and the person who designed your home is still on site the day we hand you the keys. Fourteen years and just over 480 completed homes later, that promise hasn't changed.
Our team is small by design — a core group of project managers, carpenters and trade partners who've worked alongside us for years, not months. We know how the sandy soils around Wanneroo behave, how the sea breeze off Rockingham affects orientation, and exactly what each Perth council wants on a development application. That local knowledge saves our clients weeks of back-and-forth, and more often than not, saves them money too.
We're a registered builder (BC 12345) and members of both the Housing Industry Association and Master Builders WA, carrying full home indemnity insurance and a structural warranty on every home we build. In 2023 we picked up the HIA Perth Home of the Year award for a custom build in Baldivis, and close to a third of our new contracts each year come from past clients sending us to their friends and family. That referral rate means more to us than any trophy on the shelf.
